Seher in association with OXFAM
International organized a Lucky Ali concert
to spread awareness amongst the youth
about the plight of the ordinary farmers
of India.
Oxfam International has been associated
with a large number of campaigns relating
to issues affecting the common man. The
Make Trade Fair Campaign gives
a voice to the farmers, labourers, and
factory workers who are being cheated
by the blatantly unfair rules of world
trade.
Seher invited
the well-known singer and actor Lucky
Ali to perform and speak on the issue.
The Lady Sri Ram College for Women joined
hands with Seher towards making the students
sensitive toward the farmer’s cause. The
concert took place at the Hamsdhwani Theatre
in Pragati Maidan and was attended by
over 5000 students from all over Delhi. |
