Eye to Eye - Photography Exhibition
Eye to Eye was organized by Seher and funded
by Delhi Commission for Women, Govt. of NCT of
Delhi. There were 11 women photographers who participated
in the exhibition as the celebration of the International
Women’s Day. The exhibition mounted stills on
Indian women across a spectrum of situations –
from the conceptual to mere documentation.
The
show was an interesting range beginning with
the first Indian Photographer Homai Vyarawalla’s
stills on Indira Gandhi. The other 10 photographers
who participated in the exhibition were Sonia
Jabbar, Sarvesh, Serena Chopra, Renuka Puri,
Purnima Rao, Sheba Chhachhi, Anita Khemka, Pamela
Singh. The show was curated by Kriti Arora and
Olivia Arthur. |
